Madonna is coming to Houston! It has been to long since she brought her amazing stage show through our fine city. Minute Maid Park will be hosting on November 11th. There were over 55000 seats made available for this huge show that is selling out in record time across the nation, including 9000 seats on the astros playing field. The stage will be set up in center field to take advantage of as many seats as possible. It looks like Madonna will have the top grossing tour this year just like the last time she did a major nationwide tour. Can’t wait to see her live in concert!
What a season we have had so far… and it is only June! We had a slow start that had just about everyone worried then May exploded with Berkman, Lee and Tejada pounding the ball just about every game. Now we have lost 5 in a row to end the month.
1/3 of the way through the season and we are 6.5 games out of 1st. I have read many opinions of the remainder of the season, from gloom and doom to the best is yet to come, but one thing is for sure… there are four months of baseball left.
Our Astros have a great team and good chemistry. If the Wizard gets his mojo back, and the middle of the order take turns having hot and cold streaks (instead of all going cold together) we will hit the post season stretch in just about the right place to run the table.
